Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.

If any provision of these Terms of Use (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision of these Terms of Use shall not be affected.
8. Rights of third parties
No one other than a party to these Terms of Use has any right to enforce any of these Terms of Use.
9. The UK Stewardship Code
Under rule 2.2.3R of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Conduct of Business Sourcebook, CGIM is required to include on its Website to make a disclosure about the nature of its commitment to the UK Financial Reporting Council’s Stewardship Code (the “Code”) or where CGIM does not commit to the Code, its alternative investment strategy. The Code is voluntary and sets out a number of principles relating to engagement by investors with UK equity issuers.
The Code is directed in the first instance to institutional investors by which is meant asset owners and asset managers with equity holdings in UK listed companies. Whilst CGIM is supportive of the objectives that underlie the Code, it has chosen not to commit to the Code. CGIM does not currently invest in UK listed companies. CGIM acts as an investment manager which invests in non-listed companies that produce clean technologies. CGIM’s overriding investment strategy is to add value over the long term.
Although CGIM seeks to align its approach with the broad aims of the Code, the provisions of the Code are primarily not relevant to the type of investment activity currently undertaken by CGIM. Should any of these factors change, CGIM will review its commitment to the Code at that time and make appropriate disclosure.
10. Disputes
We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently. If you are unhappy with us please contact us as soon as possible.
If you want to take court proceedings, the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use are governed by English law.
